Using Run to open WordPad

• Press – Win+R which will open run box
• Now type- WordPad
• Next press – enter

• In the search box type- WordPad
• Hit- Enter

• Now, press –enter
• Go to the below-given key in the Registry Editor
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Wordpad

• Towards the right pane on Registry Editor, underneath WordPad, delete the key – Options

• Now exit and just open – WordPad once again and you will find it with its normal default settings.
