Installing Windows Updates 

A lot of issues arise with Windows Updates, and error code is one of those errors. If you have deactivated automatic process of Windows Updates and forgot to install the newest updates for a long period, try this method

• Press – Windows key + I.
• Choose – Update & Security.

• Next, click on the button – Check for Updates.

• Now the system will detect the missing update for Windows and automatically install it.
• To complete the installation, you need to restart your system and verify if the error code exists.

Start the app affected with administrative privileges

• In case you are unable to run just a single app because of the error code – 0xc000007b, try running it with administrative privileges.
• To do this, right-click the icon of the application and then select – Run as Administrator. 
• In case you get the message – “The application was unable to start correctly” notification along with the error -0xc000007b, then try resetting the application. 

Reset the application

Reinstall the application

• Press the button- Uninstall and click – Uninstall once again to confirm
